Why Melanie?

Melanie Shower Systems have two main purposes:

1. To preserve the dignity of both your residents and your caregivers. Since showering can be done right in the resident's room with the Bedside unit, there are no more embarrassing trips down the hallway in a PVC shower chair, draped in nothing more than a towel.

2. To contain infectious waste. C.diff spores can be transferred from feces on the floor to the wheels on a shower chair, to the hands of a resident and then to the mouth. Bathing in a Melanie contains the infected waste and keeps it away from other residents and your staff.
